As the days got closer to Ryan and Melissa’s engagement photos I kept watching the weather forecast and wondering why Calgary weather is so really weird. I mean it’s still June, right? For a quick second there I thought of rescheduling the session but then decided not to and I’m so glad we went with it, rain and crazy wind at all – they made this session real. And I love real moments.
We met Ryan and Melissa at the Starbucks in Inglewood. I love that area for photos as every time I go there I get absolutely different images, because each couple is so very different and unique. Ryan and Melissa are no exception – I loved to see how Ryan’s heart melts when he looks at Melissa and the love and kindness in her eyes when she steals a glance at Ryan. They were so amazing and fun in front of the camera, and we had such a great time despite the weather’s little moments. hehe Hot coffee kept us going as we drove to Nose Hill park and we did have to throw our coats on every once in a while to keep warm but Ryan and Melissa made it worth every moment and I couldn’t wait to share their beautiful images! Can’t wait to photograph your wedding, guys!
great pics Svetlana! Love the bokeh!
Thanks Ashley!!
Svetlana, I am glad you didn't cancel due to the weather. The shots you got are quite unique and reflect 'real life' in Calgary's Spring time. Lots of excitement in air!
…as you said in your blog "…they made this session real. And I love real moments."
I absolutely love the one of them laying down in the field! The set is wonderful!
