So today I came across a blog post on 21 questions to ask your child and wanted to try that with Tim who is 7. He was not happy I asked him to turn his cartoon off for 2 minutes but then had a lot of fun answering the questions. What experiment without some drama, right? 🙂

1. What is something Mommy always says to you?

Tim: “I love you”

2. What makes Mommy happy?

Tim: “When I’m nice and listen to what you’re saying”

3. What makes Mommy sad?

Tim: “When I don’t listen”

4. How does Mommy make you laugh?

Tim: “When you play with me”

5. What was mommy like as a child?

Tim: “Small and cute”

6. How old is Mommy?

Tim: “28” (he will get an extra candy for that one! :))

7. How tall is Mommy?

Tim: “18 feet”

8. What is Mommy’s favourite thing to do?

Tim: “Take pictures”

9. What does Mommy do when you’re not around?

Tim: “Work”

10. If Mommy becomes famous, what will it be for?

Tim: “Being friends with me”

11. What is Mommy really good at?

Tim: “Taking pictures, of course”

12. What is Mommy not so very good at?

Tim: “Knowing “knock knock” jokes”

13. What does Mommy do for her job?

Tim: “Pictures.”

14. What is Mommy’s favourite food?

Tim: “Ice Cream”

15. What makes you proud of Mommy?

Tim: “When you give me surprises!”

16. If Mommy were a cartoon character, who would she be?

Tim: “Beauty from Beauty and the Beast”

17. What do you and Mommy do together?

Tim: “Play and do math”

18. How are you and Mommy the same?

Tim: “Our eye color is the same”

19. How are you and Mommy different?

Tim: “I have short hair and you have long hair”

20. How do you know Mommy loves you?

Tim: “Because you smile at me”

21. Where is Mommy’s favourite place to go?

Tim: “Disneyland!!”
